Eye protection is one of the simplest safety procedures to implement and one of the cheapest. We have a variety of solutions for differing industries where different hazards lead to increased necessity for protection levels.
It is important to select the correct level of impact protection dependent upon your working environment.
In the workplace eyes need to be protected from extremes of light, radiation, sparks, impact and dust.
Choose from a variety of safety glasses and goggles for a range of working conditions and industries which can protect your eyes from particles.
What are they and why?
- Safety Glasses – Primary protection for the purpose of shielding the eyes from a variety of impact hazards
- Safety Goggles – As glasses but better suited to larger particles, objects and fragments
- Face Lenses – used in conjunction with the above or on their own as secondary whole face protection against impact hazards
- Ratings - Safety eye wear is normally rated. In Europe this is an EN number. This can refer to a specific requirement for the environment, hazards and industry of the user
PRESCRIPTION SAFETY EYEWEAR
Choose from a variety of safety glasses and goggles for a range of working conditions and industries which can protect your eyes from particles whilst giving you flawless vision in comfort.
Why not just put the safety glasses over my regular glasses?
The only way to ensure the rating of the eye-wear is to have the lenses made to your prescription.
Wearing anything else in conjunction with safety eye-wear, invalidates the level of conformity.
Similarly there are many people who require eye protection at work and are unable to wear contact lenses. A tailored pair of safety specs are a real bonus in increasing safety and efficiency.
